Arvin Joaquin is an award-winning journalist and editor. He is currently a multiplatform journalist with OMNI News: Filipino Edition. Before that, he was an associate editor at Xtra Magazine, the writer of the Digital Publishing Award-winning newsletter, Xtra Weekly, and the founding editor of the Xtra column, Love Like Mine.
He was previously an associate producer for Global News' The West Block. His work has also appeared in Huffington Post, CityNews, CTV News, CBC News, Global News and more. You can check some of his published work here.
He holds a Master of Journalism from Carleton University and a BA (Honours with Distinction) in Communication and Sociology from Simon Fraser University.
